Gret little "tool" to have. Very easy to use in ackward angles,(stretched out over top of shed on ladder) especially with the power button on top.
Bought it after a neighbor brought his over while building a metal storage shed. What a lifesaver.
Have used this screwdriver for many things. Plenty of torque, easy to change out bits.
After using a regular screwdriver and driving what seemed to be a gazillion small screws and bolts, I actually had a callous and bruise in the middle of my palm. Started using the Black&Decker Cordless and it went by twice as fast.
Plus being able to adjust angle of handle is nice also. Especially for do-it-yourselfers".
Well, it's an average cordless screwdriver, but what bugs me is that, like other B&D products, it's impossible to replace the battery, so you have to buy a new one and toss a perfectly good product into a landfill (after recycling the dead battery, of course). Maybe I'm cynical, but it looks like this is a deliberate marketing strategy on the part of B&D to help their sales figures. It's the last B&D product I'll buy.
its cheap and it has enough torque to do simple furniture assebly, repiars around the house and work. I just bought a new one for $19.99 at Home Depot.
My first lasted for 2 years then i over-worked it and the battery wouldn't charge anymore. its great for work and arund the house.
each 3.6V alone cost over $5. can't seem to find the replacement rechargeable.
it appears to be (3) 3.6V soldered togther. highly recommend it.
The recahrgeable battery will last for 2 years or more than no more.
I usually use it on the lowest clutch setting and it's still going strong. This tool is a dream come true for IT technicians, especially when you have tons of cases and parts to remove and install. I have used it on approximately 40 machines since i first got it and i think i can go to my next job with it without recharging. i bought this product about 3 weeks ago. charged it and never had to recharge it since. i love the pivoting head and it's feels firm and durable in my hand. All i need is more Bits which i'll be buying very shortly
The collar which holds the bit is too short and they continually fall out. Additinally, the charge is very weak and won't be long enough for most jobs. Don't even think about trying to drill with this. I am now shopping for a better one.
